Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six details tell us enough to search for carrier rates: your gender, birth date, health, tobacco use, desired coverage and policy term. Your contact information and medical history only enter the picture if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are quotes from carriers for the health tier you selected. The carrier's underwriting process may confirm, improve or lower your tier after review, which then adjusts the final premium. This site makes no guarantees about price or eligibility.
What happens when I click Apply?
Your choice opens the carriers' secure application form with your quoted information already filled in. You are free to stop at any point and come back later. The process concludes with your electronic signature. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed insurance agency (License 0B75129), handles all applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
The answer depends on which carrier you select, how much coverage you request, and your health answers. Many carriers have accelerated paths that skip the exam for people meeting their criteria, and each quote displays what is needed: exam required, exam possible, or no exam.
Is a longer term better?
Your term should span the period when your income matters most: the mortgage years, school years, or years paying a business loan. Longer terms mean higher monthly costs but lock in your rate. The quote tool lets you see rates for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years side by side.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quoting engine does not capture contact details, we don't purchase or distribute personal data, and our visit tracking is cookieless. Read the privacy page for the full inventory of what we collect and who can see it.
