LEGOLAND California opened on March 20, 1999, becoming the flagship LEGOLAND destination in the United States and the first of the brand to be built outside Europe. The resort features over 60 rides, shows and attractions across themed lands including LEGO Galaxy, LEGO NINJAGO World, Dino Valley and THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD. Visitors can experience MINILAND USA, an attraction showcasing 30-foot LEGO models of iconic San Diego landmarks. The property also includes the LEGOLAND Water Park with seven water slides and sandy beach areas, plus the SEA LIFE Aquarium. These attractions draw families with children ages 2 to 12, creating generations of memories and traditions around a single destination.
